PM wishes Jewish people happy Rosh Hashanah

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili  congratulated Jewish people around the world on their New Year, Rosh Hashanah.

In his letter, the PM said, “I wish a Happy Rosh Hashanah to our Jewish brothers in Georgia and the Jewish people around the world.

The history of Georgian-Jewish fellowship would not have been so special had it not been for the infinite love binding our nations together over the centuries. This very love has defined the fact that the Jews have preserved their national character here in Georgia, which we Georgians take great pride in.

I join you in celebrating the great joy of this holiday, and I wish peace, prosperity, and success to you and your families”.
