PM congratulates entire Georgia, especially Abkhaz brothers, sisters on Abkhazia Day
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili Monday congratulated the entire Georgia, “especially our Abkhaz brothers and sisters” on the Day of Abkhazia.
In his message, the PM said: “This yet another excellent tradition introduced with the blessing of His Holiness Ilia II, Catholicos-Patriarch of Georgia symbolises the unity of Georgians and Abkhazians.”
“We are divided by the occupation line today, however what unites us is a common history and culture, values and aspiration for a better future for our children, igniting the belief that tomorrow is all about unity, peace and friendship. We do our best towards this end and I am confident that in the not so far future we will manage to get united again to start building a strong, developed and European country together,” Irakli Garibashvili stated.
