PM: Georgian Estate in Leuville symbol of Georgia-France historic ties, I believe project, implemented through fruitful partnership, will become new platform for cooperation

“Georgian Estate in Leuville represents a symbol of Georgia-France close historic ties. I believe that the project, implemented through a fruitful partnership, will become a new platform for cooperation,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, addressing the event dedicated to the completion of large-scale reconstruction works at the Georgian Estate in Leuville.

The PM extended special gratitude to the French people and the partners with whose invaluable support the restoration of Georgia’s historical heritage became possible.

“As of today, the Georgian Estate in Leuville is fully operational as an open educational and creative center for our compatriots, the diaspora, and anyone wishing to gain a closer understanding of Georgia’s history and culture. I would like to note once again that this is a special, very emotional day for each of us, and I want to congratulate everyone on this extraordinarily remarkable day,” he said.

Large-scale reconstruction works at the Georgian Estate in Leuville have been completed. The Georgian government financed and implemented the works. Leuville, as an estate belonging to the Georgian people, was transferred to Georgian administration in 2016.
