“We, all together, managed to make our main dream come true and Georgia is an EU candidate country. This is the accomplishment of joint work of our government and people,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at the Ambassadors Conference 2023.

The PM reviewed the results of 11 years of the Georgian Dream party’s governance. He said before 2012, Georgia was alienated from Europe with an authoritarian, dictatorship regime.

“In 11 years, Georgia managed to rank among the top 10 world countries with democracy development. Georgia is a candidate country of the European Union,” he said.
