PM: GD's rating 60%, no threat how opposition unites

“The actual situation approximately one month ago was that no political party but the United National Movement (UNM) could overcome the 5% election threshold. In this situation, they try to unite and this is logical,” said Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Tusheti remarking on the opposition’s forming unities.

According to Kobakhidze, even those parties, which insulted each other in the past, unite.

“Their only goal is to somehow overcome the barrier. In this process, they do not hesitate to unite with those parties, whom they insulted in the past. This is a reflection of unprincipal attitude and it is their business.
Our main goal is that currently, we have approximately 60% rating. Whatever and how the opposition unites, our victory faces no threat,” he said.
