PM Garibashvili says democracy and dialogue win again, expresses gratitude to mediators
The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili echoed the signing of the agreement A way ahead for Georgia submitted to the parties by the European Council President Charles Michel, between the government and some of the opposition parties on Twitter.
The Head of Government thanked the European Council President, the EU Delegation to Georgia, the US Embassy in Georgia and stressed that the democracy and dialogue won once again.
“Today Georgia is a winner. The majority of Georgian opposition parties have signed the EU-mediated agreement. We are grateful to European Council President, the EU Delegation to Georgia, the US Embassy in Georgia. Democracy and dialogue have prevailed once again,” Irakli Gharibashvili tweeted.
Most of Georgian political parties signed A way ahead for Georgia, a compromise document submitted to the parties by the European Council President Charles Michel, at the Orbeliani Palace on April 19.
