PM Garibashvili meets CEO of Airbus Helicopters

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Bruno Even, CEO of Airbus Helicopters, within the scope of the Munich Conference.

According to the government’s press office, the duo focused on the existing successful cooperation,

“It was pointed out that the Interior Ministry of Georgia signed an agreement to purchase three new helicopters from the French company Airbus Helicopters. H145 is a multipurpose helicopter with the capacity to perform police, transport, search, and rescue operations. The new helicopters will be fully equipped for firefighting and mountain rescue operations,” reads the press statement.

The Prime Minister underlined Georgia’s investment opportunities and favorable business environment. He went on to say that “the country is a reliable and stable partner. Despite the damage inflicted by the pandemic years on the economy, the country exceeded expectations and, similar to 2021, completed the year 2022 with double-digit economic growth.”
