Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili expressed sadness over the death of prominent actor Gogi Kharabadze.
“Over the decades, Mister Kharabadze earned people’s overwhelming love and respect through his faithful service to the arts of theatre and cinema. The unforgettable characters created by him are enshrined in the treasury of Georgian culture.
I extend my sincere condolences and sympathy to Gogi Kharabadze’s family and loved ones, and Georgian society as a whole,” he said.
Giorgi (Gogi) Kharabadze, Georgian actor, writer and director died at the age of 81 on August 17.
