PM: EU Embassy’s response to Criminal’s letter not in line with diplomatic norms
“The EU Embassy’s decision to respond to a letter from a specific criminal is inconsistent with diplomatic norms,” the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated.
Speaking to journalists, Kobakhidze said that high-ranking Georgian officials frequently request positions or clarifications from EU representatives on various matters, yet these requests are often met with silence.
“Instead, they choose to respond to a letter from a specific criminal. This is not diplomatic practice — on the contrary, it is an undiplomatic and undemocratic approach,” the prime minister said.
