“What our country needs most for strengthening is the elevation of patriotic spirit in our society, the strengthening of feelings of pride toward our own country, and I believe that the Military Camp project serves this purpose,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze declared during his speech at the opening ceremony of the military camp.
As the head of government noted, 1,700 young people will have direct contact with the military and become acquainted with the soldier’s way of life.
“This is a crucial project in which you are involved – 1,700 young people will have direct contact with the military, you will become acquainted with the soldier’s way of life, you will share in this way of life yourselves, and I am confident you will derive maximum benefit from these days. I wish you a very beneficial and pleasant 6-day experience. Most importantly, you must leave this camp with the right feelings and mindset. The primary purpose of this project is to nurture a strong patriotic spirit within our people—especially among our youth and fellow citizens—and to inspire a deep sense of pride and commitment to our homeland. What our country needs most for strengthening is precisely the elevation of patriotic spirit in our society, the strengthening of feelings of pride toward our own country, and I believe that this project and these days serve this purpose,” the Prime Minister declared.
