PM dismisses Head of Intelligence Service

The Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, has issued an order dismissing Major General Shalva Lomidze from his position as the head of the Georgian Intelligence Service.

“The decision is based on Article 9, Paragraph 1 of the Law on the Intelligence Service of Georgia,” states the order published on the government’s website.
