PM discusses long-term development strategy directions with Cabinet members and Tbilisi Mayor

The Government of Georgia is working on the country’s long-term development strategy. The main directions of the document were discussed today by Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia with members of the Cabinet and the Mayor of Tbilisi, the Government Administration reported.

The Head of Government noted that the strategy will serve as a roadmap to ensure Georgia’s consistent and stable development over the coming years. Accordingly, it is important to define priority areas, specific goals and objectives.

The strategy will focus primarily on education, healthcare, economic and social development. Each of these areas will include clearly defined targets that the country aims to achieve in the coming years.

Work on the document will continue intensively and it will be presented to the public in the near future.
