Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said he is delighted to participate in the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, UAE.
“Delighted to attend COP28 in Dubai, UAE, and voice Georgia’s vision on combating increasingly severe impacts of climate change worldwide. Georgia is dedicated to honor its commitments to enhance climate resilience, including by developing environmentally-friendly projects,” he tweeted.
Delegates from approximately 200 countries, leaders of business and finance, and representatives of civil society gathered in Dubai from November 30 to December 12 for the COP28 climate conference with the aim of fast-tracking the transition to a clean-energy future.
