PM: Country faced attempted revolution, gov't responded effectively and humanely
“This year has been successful for our country. Although the beginning of the year was full of challenges, we managed to maintain peace and stability, thanks to the efforts of each of you,” stated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the government session.
According to the Prime Minister, the successful conduct of local self-government elections was particularly important for ensuring the stable continuation of political life.
“This year marks our last government session. Let us summarize the past year, which we can confidently say was successful for our country. The beginning of the year was challenging, yet we maintained peace and stability, thanks to the efforts of all. We also successfully held local self-government elections, which were crucial for the stable continuation of political life. Unfortunately, this year was not without an attempt at revolution, but we witnessed that the state handled these events properly, effectively, and humanely. This is our duty to our country and our people,” the Prime Minister added.
