Georgian PM congratulates Theneo team on winning PITCH contest at Web Summit 2022

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili congratulated the Theneo team on winning the PITCH, “the most important” start-up contest at Web Summit 2022.

The PM said, “this achievement once again confirms that Georgian start-ups are very competitive at international markets.”

“Implementation of the project has been made possible with the support of the State and funding from the Georgian Innovations and Technology Agency (GITA).

Government efforts are directed at building a knowledge-based economy in Georgia. We will continue supporting the innovative projects of talented youth.

I congratulate Anuki Robakidze and the whole team of Teneo. I am confident that this overwhelming victory will further incentivize the entrepreneurial spirit and advancement of innovative ideas in our country,” Garibashvili stated.

Georgian startup Theneo – a web platform based on artificial intelligence (AI) – won a PITCH contest on Friday. The event was held in Lisbon, Portugal within the scope of a large-scale technology conference branded as Web Summit.
