PM congratulates public service sector employees on Public Service Day

“I wish a Happy Public Service Day to everyone employed in the public service sector, and I thank you for your service to people and the state,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in his congratulatory message.

According to the PM, employees of the public service sector contribute to the development of democratic institutions in the country.

“You are making an invaluable contribution to the development of democratic institutions in Georgia, economic advancement, and progress in social and foreign-policy directions. I especially prize your efforts toward EU integration, which largely defined our country’s historic success in obtaining the EU membership candidate status.

The effectiveness of Georgia’s public service and the commitment of each and every one of you to the European principles and values of public governance continue to play a key role in the building of our country’s better future and its shaping into a European state.

I wish you further success for the benefit of our homeland and people,” he said.
