PM: Companies and owners not subject to sanctions selected for flights with Russia
Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili recently highlighted that Georgia has carefully chosen companies and owners for direct flights with Russia who are not subject to sanctions. This selection process ensures that Georgia adheres to international policies effectively, he stated.
The Prime Minister also mentioned the visit of a delegation from the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union a few weeks ago.
“The delegation expressed gratitude to the government for implementing an efficient system to prevent Georgia from being used for sanctions evasion,” the PM stated.
The Prime Minister underscored the government’s commitment to boost tourism and attract more visitors to the country.
“Despite disinformation campaigns and the disappointment of opposition representatives, Georgia continues to maintain peace, stability, and robust economic growth,” he added.
