“The collective United National Movement must not be part of the political system; otherwise, the political system cannot develop healthily,” Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze stated, commenting on the ongoing infighting within the United National Movement.

As the head of government noted, the collective National Movement has no prospects whatsoever.

“This is a party that came second even within this weakened opposition. They have no chance whatsoever. There is internal infighting, which ultimately is a manifestation of the opposition’s weakness. They have internal feuds even inside their own party. All of this, naturally, points to their weakness, and these processes must continue in this direction. There is simply no room for such political forces in our political system; in a healthy, democratic political system. The collective United National Movement must not be part of the political system; otherwise, the political system cannot develop healthily,” Irakli Kobakhidze declared.
