PM claims foreign agents exhausted final resources in failed attempt to disrupt public service
“Foreign agents and their handlers have used the last remaining resource they had, including exhausting the resources within public service, though they saw that even this resource did not ultimately contribute to the success of the Maidan by the National Movement, NatsMaidan”,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated at a press conference in the government administration.
According to him, the self-purification process unfolded very interestingly, and there will be appropriate responses to all actions per the constitution and legislation.
“Over the past few days, foreign agents and their handlers have used their final resources left, including fully utilizing the resources in public service. They could have used these resources this spring, the previous spring, or even in June 2022, but we saw they were reserving certain resources. The last resource they had left, including in public service, they used precisely these days. However, we see that even this resource did not ultimately contribute to the success of the NatsMaidan, a Maidan organized by the National Movement.
Interestingly, the people who were calling on public servants to leave their positions in the previous days are now, after the upheaval has failed, calling on public servants not to leave their positions. This change in behaviour, in itself, speaks volumes.
The self-purification process unfolded very interestingly. We were, of course, observing everyone’s actions, and we will respond to everyone’s actions. This response will be by the constitution and legislation, but I say with full responsibility that there will be a response. This is very important to hear, including for those who are worried about the ‘NatsMaidan’ attempt and the situation created by radical politicians these days in our capital,” the Prime Minister declared.
