Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili chaired the Economic Council meeting on Tuesday.
Participants examined encouraging economic trends and discussed a range of subjects, the Government Administration reports, adding the budget implementation dynamics and the noticeably low inflation rate were highlighted.
Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili reported that consumer price annual inflation for July stood at 0.3%. In addition, figures from the first half of 2023 indicated a surplus in the budget.
The PM was informed about regional infrastructure projects.
