“We did many wrong things to our country in the past thirty years due to incompetence and ignorance,” Georgia’s Prime Ministerial candidate Irakli Garibashvili stated at the Parliament on Monday.
“We have been reaping the results of the mistakes we committed in the past 30 years. Of course, there are ill-willers, internal and external enemies, objective difficulties in our country. But we must tell the truth that we did many wrong things by ourselves consciously or unconsciously, also attributed to incompetence, ignorance, and mercantile goals,” Gharibashvili said.
Georgian Parliament will approve the new Cabinet today. Prime Ministerial candidate Irakli Garibashvili and his Cabinet members met with the Chairman of the governing Georgian Dream party before the confidence vote. The opposition rejected meeting with the new Cabinet in the faction format but will participate in the parliamentary session.
