PM candidate: Democratic movement in 2012 liberated Georgia from the neo-Bolshevik regime

“The democratic movement led by Bidzina Ivanishvili in 2012 liberated the country from the neo-Bolshevik regime. Our task was to make the usurpers who transcended the constitution obey the law,” Georgia’s Prime Ministerial candidate, Irakli Garibashvili, said at the solemn sitting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the first Constitution of Georgia.

Garibashvili believes the country faces a similar challenge today.

“We see how the criminal force is acting. They refused to recognize the election results, invented the myth of non-existent fraud, started sabotage, boycott. As they could not shake our government, began to violate the law and justice,” Garibashvili noted.

Georgia celebrates the 100th anniversary of its first Constitution on 21 February.

Georgian Parliament is holding a solemn parliamentary sitting on Sunday.
