PM attends gala dinner and award ceremony at Bratislava Palace

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, together with the members of the delegation, attended the Global Security Forum (GLOBSEC) gala dinner and the award ceremony.

The event was held at the Bratislava Palace and heads of the forum’s participant country delegations attended it.

At the traditional award ceremony, the Transatlantic Award of the Czech Republic and Slovakia was presented to the Ukrainian people. The award, which is presented every two years and is intended for individuals who have made significant contributions to freedom and democracy in Central Europe, was presented to the representatives of the Ukrainian delegation by the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Eduard Heger.

The award also went to Brigadier General Karel Řehka, Director of the National Office for Cyber ​​Security and Information Security of the Czech Republic.

GLOBSEC 2022 hosts delegates from 67 countries, including 10 presidents and prime ministers, and among the forum delegates are foreign and defense ministers from different countries.
