PM announces launch of large-scale housing project for soldiers

“We are launching a new, large-scale project aimed at constructing 43 residential blocks to provide housing for 1,200 soldiers and their families. This initiative reflects our deep respect for military personnel,” stated Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during his Cabinet meeting.

According to the Prime Minister, this initiative will enhance the social conditions of these families while simultaneously strengthening the Georgian army.

“Under the co-funding scheme, soldiers will pay USD 100 per square meter, and zero-interest loans will be available to cover the costs. Apartments will be offered in sizes of 50, 80, and 110 square meters, depending on the number of family members,” he explained.

The Prime Minister emphasized that such projects would continue in the future, stating, “This will fortify the Georgian army, which is the government’s top priority.”
