PM: ALDE continues to side with radicalism
“You know what kind of political force ALDE is and what values it has,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
According to the Prime Minister, ALDE continues to side with radicalism, including what he described as a terrorist act.
“You know what kind of political force ALDE is and what values it has. They call themselves liberals, but in the proper, classical sense of the word, they show nothing of liberalism in the positive meaning of the term. They continue to stand on the side of radicalism, including a terrorist act. These are their principles and values, which society sees very clearly,” the Prime Minister said.
For context, Irakli Kupradze, Secretary General of Lelo – Strong Georgia, said at a briefing in Gonio that the Georgian Dream opposition had “secretly” concluded an agreement concerning the construction of Arab enclaves in Gonio and Krtsanisi Forest Park. “The emergence of two Arab enclaves in two major cities, Batumi and Tbilisi, is a crime against Georgia’s security and economy,” Kupradze said.
