PM: UN General Assembly offers opportunity to discuss issues important to Georgia and region at highest level

Georgia’s Prime Minister has begun his visit to New York as part of the United Nations General Assembly, with bilateral meetings with counterparts scheduled for today, Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili said.

“We will have the opportunity to discuss, at the highest level, issues important for Georgia and the region,” Botchorishvili told journalists.

According to the Foreign Minister, the Prime Minister will also participate today in an event organized by the European Union dedicated to multilateralism.

“Today, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to participate in an event organized by the European Union, which will be dedicated to multilateralism, and the Prime Minister of Georgia will take part in this discussion,” the Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister said.
