So-called border guards detained Otar Samniashvili in Khurvaleti village, Gori district of Shida Kartli region, near the occupational line.  State Security Service confirmed the information to the First Channel.

According to the Service, the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) is already notified about the fact, and the hotline is activated.

Furthermore, the director of Khurvaleti shelter for elderly people “House without borders” told the First Channel that a detainee is a person with disabilities. According to Luda Salia, 33-year-old Otar Samniashvili, who has speech disorders was detained near the shelter.
