Perevi residents say closure of a so-called checkpoint may cause a humanitarian crisis
Residents of the village of Perevi in western Georgia said the closure of a so-called checkpoint may cause a humanitarian crisis in Akhalgori.
As the locals told Georgian First Channel, there are no pharmacies, grocery stores in Akhalgori and if need be, no doctor.
Residents noted that the occupation regime decided the closure of the checkpoints in response to coronavirus.
State Security Service of Georgia pointed out that the EUMM is aware of the illegal decision.
