A rally in support of Israel was held at the Great Synagogue in Tbilisi with participants expressing their solidarity with the Israeli people in the war zone and bringing flowers in honor of the memory of those who have perished.
The anthems of Israel and Georgia were played during the rally.
Israeli ambassador to Georgia, Hadas Ester Meitzad, and the President of the Georgia-Israel Chamber of Business, Itzik Moshe, addressed the participants.
According to Moshe, Georgia’s support is “unique” adding “everything should be done to eliminate terrorism.”
“I am grateful to Georgia and its citizens. This assistance is undoubtedly one-of-a-kind. It was an opportunity to demonstrate that we are friendly countries,” Moshe stated.
