According to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, pensions will increase in Georgia starting next year.

“Starting from 2024, the health and social protection programs budget will increase by GEL 870 million. The pension for persons aged 70 years and older will increase by GEL 50 and amount to GEL 415. The pensioners of the same category in mountain villages will get almost GEL 500. For comparison, the pension in 2012 was GEL 110 and GEL 125 accordingly; now it is GEL 415, and up to GEL 500 in mountainous settlements.

This is the actual result of the work of our government. The pension for persons under 70 years will increase by GEL 20 and make GEL 315, also GEL 380 in mountainous areas,” Irakli Garibashvili announced at today’s government meeting.
