Pension asset values hit ₾2.97 billion with ₾438 million net revenue

As of January 10, 2023, the value of total pension assets reached ₾2.97 billion, while net revenue amounted to ₾438 million, the Georgian Pension Agency announced on Wednesday.

The agency reports that 1.3 million people participated in the programme. To date, 2,969 individuals have received benefits under the cumulative pension system, totalling ₾7,546,950.01.

The Pension Agency also published the December 2022 investment portfolio report, claiming that pension fund net revenue from its launch (January 1, 2019) to December 2022 totalled 40.8%, and real returns (after inflation) came to 2.69%.

As of December 31, 2022, the total net worth of pension assets amounted to ₾2.95 billion, with ₾ 438 million net revenue from investment activities.
