The Pension Agency of Georgia announced that as of April 30, 2025, a total of 18,749 individuals have received payouts from the accumulated pension fund, amounting to GEL 79.2 million. The total number of participants in the pension scheme currently stands at 1,612,000.

The overall value of pension assets has reached GEL 6.7 billion, including over GEL 1.6 billion generated as income. The agency detailed that the dynamic investment portfolio delivered the highest return in April 2025, increasing by 0.8% compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, both the balanced and conservative portfolios grew by 0.7% during the same period.

From August 6, 2023, to April 30, 2025, the annualised nominal return of the dynamic portfolio was 12.1%. In comparison, the balanced and conservative portfolios achieved returns of 11.7% and 11.2%, respectively.

The key distinction among these portfolios lies in their allocation to global equities: as of April’s end, equities comprised 48.0% of the dynamic portfolio, 30.1% of the balanced portfolio, and 16.1% of the conservative portfolio.
