Penitentiary Service: Murtaz Zodelava has not suffered stroke; acute pathology ruled out; public urged to stop spreading disinformation
The Special Penitentiary Service has issued an official statement regarding the health condition of convicted Murtaz Zodelava.
As noted in the statement, Murtaz Zodelava has not suffered a stroke. Following medical examinations conducted at the Vivamedi Clinic, all types of acute pathological processes have been completely ruled out.
“The Special Penitentiary Service is responding to the false information being circulated regarding convict Murtaz Zodelava and clarifies that the convict has not suffered a stroke. In accordance with the symptoms reported by convict Murtaz Zodelava, he was transferred to the Vivamedi Clinic for diagnostic purposes. Following the medical examinations conducted at the clinic, all forms of acute pathological processes have been ruled out. Despite his request to return to prison, the convict was admitted to the clinic for ongoing observation. The Special Penitentiary Service once again urges all individuals to refrain from spreading such false information,” the statement by the Special Penitentiary Service reads.
