Patriarch addressed presidential candidates

Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II addressed presidential candidates Salome Zurabishvili and Grigol Vashadze, who attended the church service at Sameba (Holy Trinity) Cathedral.
As Patriarch noted, he is convinced that both candidates will meet victory or defeat decently.
“I am happy that our ministers, our presidential candidates, Salome Zurabishvili and Grigol Vashadze are here. I am convinced that both of you will meet victory and defeat decently. However, I would like to note that the winner should not think that she/he is better than other”, – Patriarch stated.
Ilia II handed over St. George’s icons to the presidential candidates.
