According to the 2017 statistics, the passenger traffic at Georgian Airports amounted to 4 073 959 people which is 43.43 % more than in 2016.
According to statistics, provided by GCAA, The main international airport of Georgia – Tbilisi Shota Rustaveli International Airport has served 3 164 139 passengers, which is 40.47% increase (911 604 passengers) compared to 2016 (2 252 535);
The passenger traffic at Batumi International Airport grew by 58.69% (183 325 passengers). The total movements in Batumi Airport amounted to 495 668 air travelers in 2017, the number was 312 343 in 2016.
Kutaisi International Airport served 405 173 (grew by 49.31%).
The total number of passenger / cargo flights increased by 36.80%. The Regular flights in 2017 has amounted to 17 852 while the number of chartered flights were 3 103.
