Parliamentary delegation visits Oxford University

Head of the Bodleian Library and Department Chief of the Oriental Studies at the Oxford University hosted members of the Georgian parliamentary delegation and Sophio Katsarava, Georgian Ambassador in the United Kingdom.

Georgian parliamentary delegation members inspected the collection of Georgian books. The sides discussed cooperation intensification prospects and initiatives in the education sphere.

The official visit of the Georgian Parliament Speaker and lawmakers to the UK ended on February 10. Although, the parliamentary delegation continued meetings with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and academia of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in the UK.

The Georgian parliamentary delegation includes Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Nikoloz Samkharadze, Head of the Parliament Speaker’s Office Levan Makharashvili and MPs Nino Tsilosani, Giorgi Khelashvili and Teona Akubardia.
