Parliament Vice-Speaker dubs Georgian delegation’s visit to Ukraine as important
“The visit to Ukraine was important not only in the short term but also in the context of the future relations between the countries,” Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Davit Sergeenko commented about the Ukrainian visit.
“The visit to Ukraine was important not only in the short term but also in the context of the future relations between the countries. Most of the misunderstandings were clarified and settled on the spot. On the issue of sanction, Shalva Papuashvili gave clear explanations, which turned out to be absolutely acceptable to them. I think the vast majority of the issues have already been closed,” Sergeenko said.
The Georgian Parliamentary delegation headed by Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili arrived in Kyiv on April 16. The delegation members visited the war-hit Ukrainian cities of Bucha and Irpin together with the Chairman of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
