Parliament Speaker, opposition to discuss Ukraine visit today

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and the opposition members are about to kick off the consultations on the Ukraine visit.

The opposition United National Movement member Shalva Papuashvili said her party would make a decision after hearing Papuashvili’s outline at today’s meeting, slated for 5 pm.

“I arrived from Kyiv a few days ago. There is no issue for me to go again. The key is the interest of Georgia and Ukraine,” Dekanoidze asserted.

Earlier today, Speaker Papuashvili confirmed his readiness to leave for Ukraine on invitation from his Ukrainian counterpart Ruslan Stefanchuk.
