Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met General Secretary of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), Asaf Hajiyev.

The Speaker remarked that the Georgian delegation to PABSEC had significantly contributed to the organization’s activities, and now, as the chairing country of PABSEC, it takes this opportunity with great responsibility.

The PABSEC General Assembly scheduled in Tbilisi will address artificial intelligence and regional cooperation. The Georgian side initiated that a joint session of ASEAN and PABSEC be held on the sidelines of the general assembly.

Shalva Papuashvili stressed that he would actively engage in various international activities.

Head of the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation in the PABSEC Irakli Mezurnishvili attended the meeting.
