Parliament publishes Investigative Commission’s conclusion and resolution
“The Parliament deliberated on the Conclusion of the Interim Fact-Finding Commission assigned to scrutinize the activities of the regime of 2003-2012 and the political leaders thereof, as well as the current and former officials of the political parties from 2003 up to today and adopted the respective resolution,” the Georgian Parliament reported.
“The Conclusion, comprising up to 500 pages, provides an exhaustive analysis of the activities of the regime that operated from 2003 to 2012, encompassing the actions of its leaders and the current and former officials of the political parties that were active during that period, extending up to the present day.
The Parliament, based on the analysis of the facts provided in the Conclusion, has resolved the evidence of: torture and inhumane treatment by the National Movement regime; murders and violence, as well as violation of the privacy by the members of the National Movement regime; corruption, business and property rights violations; crimes against the media freedom; crimes against the territorial integrity and peacekeeping process; anti-national activities by Mikheil Saakashvili, National Movement and its affiliated persons in 2012-2025,” the Parliament stated.
