Parliament endorses Georgia-Azerbaijan Defence Cooperation Agreement

 

The Georgian Parliament supported the agreement on Defence Cooperation between the Governments of Georgia and Azerbaijan.

The agreement was submitted for ratification and gained 80 votes in favour. Grigol Giorgadze, Deputy Minister of Defense, detailed the agreement’s essential elements and aims at the plenary.

According to him, the two countries’ defence collaboration includes military education, training and exercises, logistics, military medicine, military legislation, and cooperation under the NATO Partnership for Peace program.
