Parliament Approves Geka Geladze as SSSG Head

Geka Geladze has been appointed as the Head of the State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG).

The decision was made during a plenary session, where 85 MPs supported his candidacy, while 12 voted against.

Prior to the vote, Geladze was heard at a closed session of the parliamentary Defense Committee.

Parliament approved his appointment for a six-year term.
