Parliament approves draft-bill On Broadcasting regarding TV School Project
The Georgian Parliament approved the draft-bill On Broadcasting regarding TV School Project through the third hearing today. The 77 lawmakers backed the draft project.
The draft-bill states that administrative bodies, political parties and public officials cannot finance the Public Broadcaster or purchase its service.
The direct or indirect financing of programs during their production or airing is prohibited except financing of educational, cultural, public order or security related programs.
