Parliament approves Davit Mamiseishvili as Supreme Court judge

The Georgian Parliament has approved Davit Mamiseishvili as a judge of the Supreme Court by 85 votes to 12.

Mamiseishvili was heard by the Parliamentary Legal Affairs Committee yesterday ahead of the vote. His candidacy was submitted to Parliament by the High Council of Justice for election as a Supreme Court judge.

The parliamentary resolution on Mamiseishvili’s appointment as a Supreme Court judge will take effect on April 30, 2027.
