Parents rally to demand Public School construction

Parents and pupils held a rally in Tbilisi’s Nadzaladevi district, demanding the construction of the 11th Public School.

According to them, the school has been in disrepair for several years, forcing them to send pupils to another district.

“We were forced to block the road, but to no avail. What form should we use to get attention? All the schools in Nadzaladevi are destroyed, and deadlines are being extended,” said one of the parents.

Representatives from the Education Ministry and the district’s majority deputy met with rally attendees and stated that work on the 11th school will begin in mid-November and be finished in September 2025.
