Over 1000 soldiers will receive flats in newly-built residential blocs, said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the government meeting.

According to the PM, funds to provide soldiers with accommodation spaces will also be allocated in the budget from next year, and the program will continue.

“Caring for the Georgian army is a priority of the Georgian government, and in this regard, special importance is attached to the appreciation of our military personnel,” he said and thanked the Defense Minister for carrying out the program successfully.

“The program must continue, and I would like to ask the Defense Minister to prepare a plan for the next phase, which will allow us to provide even more soldiers with apartments in the newly built buildings. Appropriate funds will be included in the budget from next year as well,” remarked Irakli Kobakhidze.
