Otar Partskhaladze stripped of Georgian citizenship

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has signed a decree stripping Otar Partskhaladze, a Georgian-Russian businessman of Georgian citizenship, the President’s Office reported on Tuesday.

Zourabichvili signed the decree before attending an impeachment hearing in parliament.

The decision follows the Department of State’s move to add Partskhaladze in the sanctions list.
