OSCE PA President expresses support for peaceful resolutions to Georgia's challenges

The President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Pia Kauma, visited the occupation line in Georgia, emphasizing support for peaceful resolutions to the country’s challenges and crises.

During her visit, Kauma stated, “My reason for being here is, of course, that I want to see with my own eyes here on the ground what it looks like, what the impact on the regular citizens of the illegal occupation of the Russians here. My impression is that everything seems to be calm here, but, of course, I am concerned about the well-being of people in these conditions. The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly works to find a peaceful way to solve the different problems and crises that we are facing in different parts of the world. Of course, we are supporting Georgia to solve its crises and problems peacefully. We are going to give our support to find solutions to this kind of situation in a peaceful way, using the means and tools that we have in the Parliamentary Assembly”.
