Opposition to picket Parliament on March 2

The opposition will not block off but picket the Parliament building on March 2, the United National Movement (UNM) member Akaki Minashvili declared on Monday.

Minashvili noted that the picket would not hinder the MPs from entering the parliament building.

Earlier, the Georgian opposition announced protest rallies following the arrest of the UNM leader Nika Melia.

The protest envisages picketing the state institutions, including the Government Administration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the court, and the Parliament.
