Opposition to continue protesting, picketing of parliament on November 25-26
The oppositional parties and activists of public movements will hold a protest rally on November 25 and organize picketing of the parliament building on November 26 in Tbilisi. The future action plan was announced during the rally at central Rustaveli Avenue.
Shota Dighmelashvili, one of the organizers of the protests talked about the demands and underlined that proportional election system was an irreversible necessity.
Oppositional politician Gigi Ugulava said that activities of the opposition would be principal, constitutional, lawful and peaceful.
“We will make effort that this government ends its rule through peaceful, fair and proportional elections. Oligarchy mush finish in this country. . . . We should create an unbearable environment for them, hard conditions so that they go,” Ugulava said.
